I have gotten some feedback about the length of the tutorial and will compress those more, in this issue and subsequent issues. Especially when there are several steps involved, as in Rollie's Ram. Also in this issue we will recap the entire Ram tutorial and bring it to a conclusion. Hopefully we all learned some things as we watched the progress. Visuals are a good way to learn, especially in woodburning.

There are several new exciting projects that will be published in the upcoming newsletter issues. If anyone has an idea or project to submit, please email me. newsletter@southwestwoodcrafts.com

Also if you have any recipes or cooking related topics to share please let me know. Readers seemed to like the idea, but we need to get contributions to continue with it. Since summer is around the corner, maybe there are some good grill recipes you have.

When the Applied Pyrography newsletter was switched to the new host and servers, all the old links didn't work. A reader pointed it out to me and now issues 1-3 should be online and ready to go. If anyone notices any problems, please email me webmaster@southwestwoodcrafts.com

Issues in the future are going to cover burning on leather, the test results of using different waxes to protect burnings from light, making a temperature regulator, clock making, frames, and more ...stay tuned!

Hope you enjoy this issue,

LAter, Bill
