BBQ

To the left is a great burning done by Barb Cramer ( http://www.Art4youbycramer.com)and she was kind enough to let it be used here. She also sent it to me as a quilt square and it seems the perfect image for this section. Click to enlarge!

The following recipe was submitted by Cheryl Trusty.

Southern Style Baked Beans

2 cans Van Camp's Pork & Beans
1/4 c ketchup
tablespoon mustard
tablespoon sweet relish
dash Worcestershire sauce 6-8 slices bacon
1/2 c grated cheese

Cook 1/2 the slices of bacon until very crispy. Crumble to pieces.
Mix everything except uncooked bacon and cheese together and put into a loaf pan. Cover with remaining slices of bacon. Cook at 425 for 40 -50 mins. About 1/2 way through, as the top bacon begins to crisp, turn it and finish cooking. When bacon is done, add cheese to top and cook 5 - 10 mins more. Remove and let cool for about 10 - 15 mins before serving.
