To the left is a great burning done by Barb Cramer ( http://www.Art4youbycramer.com)and she was kind enough to let it be used here. She also sent it to me as a quilt square and it seems the perfect image for this section. Click to enlarge!

Cherry Pie Another burn by Barb. This was done on milk soaked paper. See last issue for details !

The following recipe was submitted by Cheryl, and if you love garlic...this is a great one !

Wilted Spinach Salad

1 teaspoon olive oil
4 cloves minced garlic
12 oz fresh spinach
1-2 oz fresh feta cheese, as desired.

heat oil in skillet and sauté garlic. Add spinach to hot skillet. Cover and cook until wilted, about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese. Serve immediately. Serves 4.

Here is a recipe submitted by Darlene Propp, that I forgot to include previously. Good for New Years or any other time !!!

Here's a recipe for my favorite cheeseball - always a hit at get-togethers
and would be great for New Year's Day.

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 8 oz pkg shredded cheddar cheese
1 small can chopped black olives
red and green bell peppers, diced - about 1/4 cup all together - for color
dash Worchestershire sauce

Mix all ingredients together - form into a ball. Roll in crushed Ritz
crackers. Serve with Ritz Crackers. Yummy!!!
