Free Stuff

There is a lot of free information, ideas, and sometimes free products on the web. There is a site, Blaiz Enterprises that has some free software programs of interest. One I use and like is the Text Effects. It lets you create interesting text, that might be that "unique" text you want to add to a burning. Download from: http://blaizfree.net/text_effects.html

http://www.shortcourses.com/editing/ A nice comprehensive course on editing digital photographs. Lots of great information for those who use image editing software, such as Photoshop.

http://www.arraich.com/ps_intro.htm has some great Photoshop tutorials. Most seemed based on PS 7, but the basic techniques seem to be general enough for earlier PS versions. Lots of good info.

http://www.saycheese.com/default.asp A great site for those who have a digital camera or are wanting to buy one. Great tutorials and information. The picture on their home page is impressive.

Well, we all know that viruses can ruin your day if you get
one. You can get up to date virus information at Symantec's virus alerts at: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ Of course there are rumors about viruses and some are hoaxes. So how do you tell if it is a hoax or not? Symantec also has hoax
information at: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/hoax.html where you can check and see if that virus you were warned about is a hoax.
